Project: Highfields Retaining Wall Client: RTA/Civil Build Clients Project Manager: Steve Wood (02) 4946 0266 Civil Sydney’s Contract Value: $1.1m Project Description Civil Sydney and Civil Build have been contracted by the RTA to install spaced piled wall and capping beam to the pacific highway at Highfields. The piling on the project was required due to landslip and subsidence from mining operations several decades ago. The job involved piles up to 35m deep through old mine workings and voids with permanent casing. Confined space and high volume of traffic were key issues with this complex project. |
